Flamingo explores how a large sailing yacht can feel open, light, and closely connected to its surroundings.
Instead of treating the superstructure as one continuous enclosed volume, the upper decks are divided into separate glazed spaces with different functions. A raised bridge connects these areas and creates long views across the vessel and the water.
The proposed layout includes a main saloon, outdoor dining areas, a saltwater pool, beach club, spa, cinema, and gym. Large glass panels protect the deck while preserving visibility and natural light.
The roof surfaces were developed to accommodate approximately 300 square metres of solar panels as part of the yacht’s proposed hybrid energy system.
