A nature-inspired playground built as one connected landscape.
2018.
Wooden Park is a children’s playground concept made from timber, metal, and rope.
The design takes its visual language from animals and structures found in nature. A large spider forms the central element, surrounded by smaller features inspired by a snail, monkey, cave, and beehive.
Tunnels, bridges, climbing nets, and suspended paths connect the different areas into one continuous route. Children can choose how they move through the playground, creating their own games rather than following a single prescribed activity.
The project focused on creating a recognizable visual identity while encouraging climbing, balance, coordination, exploration, and imaginative play.
